YDS is delighted to welcome to Dublin, the Music Ensembles of the Dublin High School, California, USA. We really look forward to opening a joint concert with the US visitors at the Helix Theatre on April 6th.
The Music Ensembles from Dublin High School are coming to Ireland, bringing a various program from jazz standards to classical repertoire. The Dublin High School Wind Ensemble, consisting of 50 musicians, is the premier concert band at DHS and has won praise at numerous festivals and competitions in California for its beauty and precision. The Jazz Ensemble has a long tradition of excellence at Dublin High School, playing both new and old jazz, celebrating the versatility of the musicians and of America’s most cherished art form.
The Chamber Orchestra is a 10-member group of string instrumentalists.
All ensembles are led by conductor Elliot Polot.
